It was a dark and stormy night...
All written works should start off with those seven words. Yes, even poems. Why not make it,
It was a dark and stormy night,
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Thunder gives me a fright,
How about you?
So much better that way, don't you agree?
One thing I do know that this post needs, is my missions statement. Why this blog is here, what I hope to achieve with it, and my hopes on what it will become.
I've spent a year at home now. I'm freshly married and through that I'm learning what it means to create a kitchen. A kitchen that works well for husband and myself. One that caters to our cooking, baking, eating, and living styles.
As well as our kitchen adventures.
This past year I've delved into the realm of recipes and kitchen design websites. I've found a banana bread recipe that we love, I learned how to poach eggs and the year before I even learned how to roast my very first turkey.
But that is not what I am here for. There is an entire world of blogs, websites and galleries dedicated to giving you a million different takes of classic recipes. But what about the tools you use to make them with? Often time large blogs will feature a new tool, a novel idea, but very few places center on this.
And that is exactly what I am here to do. I plan on doing line-ups of options for every day cooking tools. New ideas for old tools, showing you the new, the classic and the much loved ingredients for a kitchen.
I'm going to give you lists of your options, show you what I've got, what I will get, and why. I'll do the research for you. I'll give you pictures, reviews. Links to where to buy or find your tools. I'll give you everything I can to help you.
So that you, yourself, can make,
A Perfect Kitchen.
